What are your shipping charges and how do you ship?
We try to ship all our orders in two business days. But please allow extra time if it is during a holiday season. We charge a flat shipping rate of $8.75 per shipment and we ship using the United States Postal Service. The more items you order at one time, the more you will save on shipping charges.
What if I want to pick up the products locally and save the shipping charge?
That’s fine with us. Just be sure to check the box beside Local Pickup for any product(s) you order. You must check that check box for Each product. We’ll get back with you with a time and pickup location. If you forget to check this check box for any item on your order, then our standard shipping charge will show up in the shopping cart. You can remove the item (that you forgot to check the Local Pickup box on) from the cart, and then re-add it with the box checked to correct the problem. We are located in the DFW Area in Arlington about 10 minutes south of the Parks Mall.
What about state sales taxes?
Since we are located in Texas, we must collect a sales tax of 8.25% for all shipments made to a Texas address.
What are Smelly Jellies and how are they used?
A smelly jelly is a scented gel that can be set in places that you cannot have a burning candle. They are great in the cup holder of your car, on your desk, in a bathroom, closet, or put them in a potpourri burner for an even stronger scent.
What are Aroma beads and how are they used?
Aroma beads are amazing little clear polymer beads that absorb up to 30% of fragrance oil. You can purchase them in beautiful sheer organza sachet bags in an array of colors. They can also be set in your closet, lingerie drawer, vacuum cleaner bag or as a car air freshener. Any air freshener that is not heated or circulated will not “throw” like a candle. Heat and circulation are what make the scent throw into the air, and without any heat source, nothing is going to throw a lot. Aroma Beads need to be placed in an open dish where air will circulate to allow the fragrance to flow. The beads also need to be shaken around every now an then to 'refresh' them and release the scent.
Tell me more about how your candles are made?
The wax for my candles is a high quality wax. It melts evenly throughout the candle and does not leave wax on the containers. The wicks are lead free and are an all-natural product.
Are there other scents than those I see listed?
If you do not see your favorite, please let us know and I will be glad to make it.

Are there any special safety tips for using candles?
Remember: A Candle is only as safe as the person burning it.
NEVER leave a burning candle unattended. Always keep burning candles out of the reach of children and pets. Always burn candles on a stable heat resistant surface or trivet for no more than 4 hours at a time. Hot candle jars can damage furniture. Keep wax free of matches, wick trimmings and other flammable objects. Never burn a candle in an area where there is a draft. Always keep wicks trimmed to 1/4 of an inch!! This is essential for a clean, smoke free burn. Many people complain about candles that smoke and be eliminated by trimming the wicks to 1/4" every time you burn a candle. This is true for all types of candles. If your candle is smoking despite trimming the wick and checking for debris in the melt pool, extinguish the candle. Trim the wick again a little more and allow to cool before relighting. The smoking will stop. With a quality candle, you shouldn’t have problems with smoking, but it is worth remembering that scented candles will smoke more than unscented. Discontinue use of candle when 1/2" of wax remains in the bottom of a container. Do not move a glass container while the wax is liquid. Candles will fade, when left in light for an extended period of time. Never put candles in a window or in direct sunlight. To avoid glass containers shattering, do not burn a candle in a container that is chipped or cracked. Allow candle to cool before replacing lid on jar.
