Who are We?

Flaherty’s Flickers is a family owned business operated in Arlington, Texas. I started making candles about 4 years ago as a hobby. I bought many candles from stores, but was never satisfied with how fragrant they were or how long they lasted, so I decided I was going to start making my own candles. After a lot of hard work and hours spent testing, I finally found the combination that I think gives the BEST scent throw and the longest lasting candle you can find! They are TRIPLE SCENTED and HAND POURED.

I have scoured the US to find the best quality fragrance oils for each different scent! I use only 100% pure fragrance oil and drench the entire candle with it, which allows for a strong fragrance the entire time the candle burns. I use only cotton wicks and a high quality soft creamy wax, which results in the strongest scented candles you will find! They also burn clean and off the sides so that there is no waste! When used properly, each 6.5 oz. jar will burn approximately 50 hours and the 12.7 oz. jar will burn approximately 100 hours.

For those of you with dogs that don't like the way they smell after being outside, try one of the Flaherty room sprays. I used to spray my dog with Bath and Body each time she came in from outside, but since I've tried the "April Fresh" room spray, I've noticed the scent lasts a lot longer and it has not bothered her skin , and if my dog has gotten wet from the rain, I spray her before drying her and she smells just like she's just had a bath. So since the discovery of the Flaherty room spray, my dog runs around the house smelling "april fresh" all the time!!! Thank you Lori for this great product!!!

I've been getting all of my candles from Flaherty's Flickers for the past 2 years now. They are awesome! I wouldn't buy any other candles. The scents are great! Cucumber Melon is my favorite! The candles last a long time and do not get all black and sooty like so many other candles do. I also love the aroma beads. I keep one in my car and our kids have them in their lockers at school. What a great idea!

I have been introduced to Lori's great candles through my work. I work for a doctor and Lori comes to our office. We cannot have candles in the office so the smelly jellies are a wonderful way to keep the waiting room nice and fresh. The patients just love to smell them and they are terrific in the car, bathroom and closet.
